Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
ProbaLab (probalabsports.com) publishes sports predictions. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- No accounts. You can use the whole site without signing up or telling us who you are.
- Hosting and security logs. Our site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our prediction data is served from Supabase, which processes similar request data.
- Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts are fetched.
- Email. If you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address to send it to you. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share your address.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are read, roughly where visitors are (country or city, worked out from the IP address), the device and browser, how visitors arrived and how long they stay. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We don't use it to identify you, and we don't combine it with your email address.
Analytics only runs if you say yes. When you first visit, a banner asks for your consent. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics isn't loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set (we use Google Consent Mode, with everything off by default). If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<id>) that last up to two years. If you decline, nothing is loaded. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage.
Changing your mind or opting out. You can reset your cookie choice to see the banner again, clear this site's data in your browser, block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising
We may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Advertising cookies also stay off unless you accept. You can control personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
Affiliate links. Some links, such as Amazon links, are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer may set its own cookies, and we may earn from qualifying purchases.
How we use and share information
We use it only to run the site, reply to you and send emails you've asked for. We don't sell personal information. Our service providers (Cloudflare, Supabase, Google Fonts, Google Analytics if you accept, Google AdSense and, if you subscribe, our newsletter provider) may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first; you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
